Class Focus

Day's Focus

Today we shared what we learned about our assigned characters in a Round Robin Discussion.  Students focused on sharing information about their character, built their public speaking and active listening skills.  Students took notes on the each of the characters presented to use as they work on completing their Character Charts 1 & 2 for Chapters 1-3.  The Round Robin Discussion will be completed in class tomorrow (Tuesday).  Click here for today's powerpoint or scroll to the bottom of the page.

Focus of Classwork

This week was a short week.  Students were only in school Wednesday through Friday.  In class we turned our attention from "The Most Dangerous Game" to the novel Lord of the Flies.  We focused on characterization as we read and discussed chapters 1 and 2.
